Bios

Let me introduce myself. I'm Dan one half of eAwakening.

I've been interested in the environment since I was young growing up in Connecticut. Now, I am involved in starting the Abington Green Committee and Sustainable Abington.

After graduating from Mass College of Art, I had an Arts & Crafts business with my wife for about 10 years. During that time I also worked as a teacher in the public school system. Following teaching, I was at Continental Cable where I worked as a reporter, editor, videographer and producer. While there I produced an environmental series called "The Adventure Crew" and a weekly segment called "Local Wonders". Now and for the past 10 years, I work as a videographer/editor for a major Boston station.

eAwakening is the new business that I have started with my wife. It's a communications business focusing on the environment through art, books, music, video and workshops. One of the first projects is the book that I wrote and illustrated titled "Gobblers, Relbbog's Quest to Save the Wasted Planet".

We have just finished work on a documentary "Target Zone, What Are We Breathing?" and are now working on other video projects. Currently, we are also working on developing conservation and efficiency workshops.

My name is Marilyn and I am the other half of eAwakening.

I grew up in Massachusetts in a home where we lived by the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

After graduating from New England School of Art, I was the other half of the Arts and Crafts business with Dan. I was an access producer at Continental Cablevision where I won an award for "The Children's Monthly News Show". I did the show for over two years in collaboration with my husband.

The book "Gobbler's", our first major project, was an exciting adventure. For that project I was the editor and did the layout for the book.

I also work as a financial coordinator in a large company.
